The Summit County Builders Association is a non-profit organization consisting of over 190 Builder & Associate Members who do business in Summit County.

Our Membership includes:

  • Builder/Remodeler/Developer Members - Individuals or firms engaged in the business of building or remodeling homes and/or developing land that is zoned for building.
  • Associate Members - Individuals or firms engaged in professions related to, or concerned with, the home building industry; e.g., subcontractors, manfacturers, suppliers, title companies and Realtors as well as firms engaged in mortgage lending and commercial banking.  Anyone who provides a good service to the building industry is considered an associate member.

Meetings:

General Membership Meetings are held the second Monday of each month, except June, July, August and September and December. The meetings are held at the Holiday Inn in Frisco at 6 pm. Cost for dinner is $20 for members or $30 for returning non-members. First-time attendees are free.

 

The July & August meetings are held at outdoor picnic areas, please call for location. The Parade of Homes Award Reception is held in lieu of September's meeting. The December meeting is our annual Holiday Party usually held at the Silverthorne Pavilion. Call the office at 970-668-6013 for more details for these events.

 

Other Important Events:

Home & Outdoor Living Show

The Annual Home & Outdoor Living Show will be held in late April at the Keystone Conference Center. The show will be open to the public on Friday from 3 - 8 pm and Saturday from 9 am - 5 pm. There will be seminars and demonstrations throughout the day on Saturday.  A Silent Auction will be held in conjunction with our show to benefit a local charity. Admission to this event is free and open to the public. For more updated information call 970-668-6013. The dates for 2008 are April 25 & 26. Applications will be available late January.

 

Golf Tournament

SCBA Scramble Golf Tournament will be held the in June at the Breckenridge Golf Course. Foursomes vie for prizes and bragging rights in this fun event. Contact the SCBA office at 970-668-6013 for more details.

 

Parade of Homes

The Annual Parade of Homes will be held the last two weekends in September. Exquisite Summit County homes will be open to the public to view. For more updated information click on the Parade of Homes link or call 970-668-6013.
