Framing including cutting and nailing. Job site organization and cleanup. Window installation, and some siding and trim.

All duties necessary to manage a multiple unit jobsite, including but not limited to jobsite management, protection, and cleanup. Intern will gain an introduction to residential home construction by working with the project team, managing, receiving building materials, trash clean-up/hauling, material pickup/delivery, performing simple skilled/unskilled labor, etc.

.Carry necessary tools and materials in employee’s bags to efficiently perform tasks as asked.

Learn the basics of electrical wiring. Work with trade tools and journeyman electricians.

Survey and layout, rough carpentry, concrete flatwork.

General carpentry & construction of custom residential houses. Including framing,, siding, decking, material management and window installation.

Ensure construction is performed in accordance with plans; help create solutions for problems that arise and implement solutions; job site cleanup and safety; assist with trade coordination.

Assist in the tangent responsibilities associated with custom home building. including cleaning up tasks, material handling, light framing, demolition of existing construction (remodel work), accepting and participating in the receiving of deliveries, picking up material from supply houses, working alongside trade partners and assisting with associated tasks. Must be able to: maintain a positive attitude, be on time, communicate clearly regarding schedule and task accomplishment, and be willing to learn!
