We've got walls going up! Students are having fun learning to build as the modular ADU takes shape. They're also brushing on weatherproofing, which Rick notes is part of meeting state requirements. Hands-on learning, one wall at a time!

Summit High School ADU
2026-2027 school year
This year's Careers in Construction project is a two-bedroom, one-bath modular ADU being constructed by Summit High School students alongside local trades professionals.
The two modular sections are being built at the high school and will be transported to Summit Cove, where they'll become part of a permanent residence for a local homeowner.
