This year, we are proud to feature Tiny Home 3 in the 2026 Summit County Parade of Homes. Built by Summit High School Careers in Construction students, with support from the Colorado River BOCES E.P.I.C. program, Careers in Construction Colorado, and Summit County Builders Association volunteers, this project gives students the opportunity to build a real home from the ground up.

Throughout the build, students gained hands-on experience in residential construction, including framing, wiring, plumbing, insulation, finishes, and other key phases of the building process. What begins in the classroom becomes real-world learning through tools, materials, mentorship, and jobsite expectations.

Tiny Home 3 is more than a home. It represents workforce development in action and highlights the importance of skilled trades education in Summit County. Through this project, students build confidence, develop practical skills, and explore career pathways in construction and related trades.

Tiny Home 3 will also serve as the 2026 Parade of Homes box office location.
