Tour the 2025 EPIC Tiny Home—built by students, backed by builders, and made for the mountains
This 360-square-foot custom-built tiny home is one of the most inspiring entries in this year’s Parade of Homes. Designed with purpose and crafted by students at Summit High School, it reflects a powerful collaboration between education and the building industry.
Constructed through the Summit County Builders Association’s Careers in Construction program, and supported by local builders and volunteers, this home proves that hands-on learning delivers real-world results. Inside, you'll find a vaulted ceiling, full kitchen and bathroom, stylish living area, and a private bedroom with a custom Closet Factory system. The finishes rival those of luxury homes—quartz countertops, stainless steel GE appliances, LVT flooring, and a cozy pellet stove—all in an efficient, space-smart layout.
Set on a sturdy 4-axle trailer, the EPIC Tiny Home is mobile, NOAH-certified, and engineered for Colorado mountain life. With closed-cell spray foam insulation, Milgard casement windows, LED lighting, and clever exterior storage, it’s as practical as it is polished.
It’s available for purchase, with proceeds funding next year’s student build and helping the next generation of tradespeople gain hands-on experience and valuable career skills.
Come walk through the EPIC Tiny Home during the Parade of Homes and see what happens when education, opportunity, and community unite. This is more than a project—it’s a mission in motion.
