Week Ending 03/31/24

This week, the Construction Tech 1 classes dismantled the Beauty and the Beast stage set, storing the materials for future projects. The play was a resounding success, with attendance for all shows nearly at capacity, and the general consensus is that there were some exceptionally talented student performances.

Progress on the Tiny Home project continues, with rough plumbing scheduled for inspection this week. Students have been busy drilling studs, pulling wires, and nailing up electrical boxes. Meanwhile, the framing crew is focused on constructing a custom ladder for loft access and preparing the kitchen for the upcoming cabinet installation. Cabinets, appliances, and flooring have been ordered and are expected to be installed in May. See photos below for a glimpse of the ongoing work.
